Founder Bio

Mike Hammett is the founder of BenefitBridge, a workforce purchasing platform created to expand the definition of employee benefits by delivering real purchasing power to working Americans. 


The idea for BenefitBridge was born from a simple belief, that hard-working people and their families deserve more support, especially in today’s economic climate where the cost of living continues to rise. With more than 40 years in business, Mike has seen firsthand how difficult it has become for employees to stretch their income, even while working full time. 


Driven by a desire to “show people some love” in a practical way, he launched BenefitBridge to connect employees with premium products at exclusive pricing through employer-sponsored programs. What began as a mission to help workers quickly evolved into a three-sided value model that also supports employers seeking meaningful, no-cost benefits and vendors seeking new distribution channels. 


Today, Mike leads BenefitBridge with a vision of building a scalable national platform that grows into a full benefits technology company, one that strengthens workforce loyalty, expands brand reach, and delivers measurable financial value to employees across the country.
